The phenomenon of creation of Easter eggs at the Faberge models by the jewelers are connected with the pre-revolutionary Russia traditions. The first attempts of the creation of the items in Faberge style were in the 1980's. Andrey Ananov is the initiator of the treatment to the art works of the famous jeweler Ananov presented the medallion in the form of the Easter egg to the representative of the "Cartier" company.

This company were very impressed with it's high quality. "Cartier" company entered into a contract with the Ananov and worked out the special brand name "Faberge from Ananov".

Filigree eggs with surprise: icons, open doors, breaking in two parts and etc. from Ramenskoye masters are marked out among modern Easter eggs in Faberge style as the miniature pendants-eggs of Sant-Peterburg masters using both Christian and pagan symbols. Pendants-eggs are fulfilled out of silver with the 18-carat gilding. The colour enamels, Svarovski crystals, natural stones (garnet, malachite, obsidian, lapis lazuli) are used in decoration of this jewelry.
